well, it's made for developers, i doubt that many players would be
interested in reading it. They usually just want to play^^
It shows an idea of where globes come from, now you can make up your
stories and campaigns about what they are going to do.
Also it leaves enough blank points for further implementations. They are
on a moon, so everything can pass by, there is already another kind of
technology they can look for, or fix or fight, who knows... they are split
in different "colors" so maybe they will start a war for resources... they
can start to ask their selves where they come from and go look for the
"ancients". This wont change the game engine at all, that's the important.
Cause, for example, you can't control a single globe but always think at
the swarm as a whole, but it's all very very important for the graphic
impact.
In the campaigns you can just add a couple of more lines of text if you
wish^^ just for giving to the player a sense of continuity on what he is
doing.
I personally think that most of the things I wrote should remain hidden to
the player. He just have to know part of the last chapter, for
understanding how globes work, the rest is useful for creating a world
around it. It's like when you write a campaign for a role play game (the
real old ones^^), you create a big story and show the players the least
they need to know, but when they ask you something you already have a
consistent reply ready and also you can unveil more details in time,
keeping him interested in what he s doing.
