Huh.  There is meta/guile but it doesn't seem to exist in 1.8, and I
don't see any documentation referring to it in either 2.0 (where it is
present) or 2.1.  It is used in various Makefiles of Guile.

So no idea where my information is originally from and what its
relevance may even be.
