Yeah, I messed that one up, but I committed a fix for it a while ago
already. Or did I forget that? I made some more changes in the meantime,
and as it works over here, I'll just commit the stuff (again).

That is correct that way. As the proper value should be read from the
config file by then, the right language will be initialized. Please have
a look whether it works with the recent code now.

If it's not working, you could delete your old config and try again.
