The command would fail if you're creating a same-archive name collision unless you provide an overriding CLI option.
Also, a command that adds a patch-log (dopatch, sync-tree, ...) to a project tree would fail if the <c>--<b>--<v>/<a> component of this patch-log matches the same component of an existing patch-log path when compared with strcasecmp() but does not match with strcmp(). A similar safeguard probably applies to revision libraries.
