Re: [Adonthell-devel] Data update

I've done a little extra French translations. The intro, and the bits
characters says when doing their business.

I've also fixed Orloth's schedule. The sentence "That clock is late
again!" weren't taken by pygettext.

Which showed weird behavior when trying to update the fr.po file. First,
wastesedge.pot didn't seem to automatically get updated by make. I did a
make wastesedge.pot-update in po/ to update it. Also, I was unable to
update fr.po by make. The Makefile looks weird to me concerning
msgmerge:

MSGMERGE = msgmerge
MSGMERGE_UPDATE = : --update

Is MSGMERGE_UPDATE correct? Not only it doesn't call msgmerge, but also
my msgmerge doesn't support the --update option. Any idea Kai? My
version of gettext is too old, maybe?

Uh, cool! But they should be able to send us the po files back, and
continue the work that have been started (especially on the French
translation ;p). I'm browsing the site right now, to understand the
exact procedure, but it looks cool.

In this case, the translations would be (C) by the FSF, right? I'm fine
with it, that way everybody could work on them.

Somehow :) This probably means everybody else is working hard, and will
have plenty of new stuff to show when they come back! ;)

But seriously, I'll have to stand a little more away during a few days
too, as I spent all my hollidays on Adonthell, but have to do some
university work too. I'll try to keep progressing on the Windows version
however.

Alex.
