Yo Gary!You nailed it, tested the cable today and found pin 7 shorted to pin 1, so the PPS signal was tied high when connected to the computer. Will hopefully have a chance to fix it tomorrow and continue testing, but fully expect this will fix the PPS problem. Will try and look into the xgps issue tonight, but thinking it is all down to configuration issues at this point (phew).
