Sigh.  Yes, things have been ... complicated for me lately.

But, I think I might be able to find enough cycles to turn the crank
for another release soon-ish.  Mind you, it is not HARD to do that;
mostly it's some minor git-fu, being able to run "make dist", uploading
and signing the resulting tar-ball to savannah, and sending out emails.

I would like to finish up the work I started way back when in terms of
cleaning up file descriptor handling (setting FD_CLOEXEC on most
descriptors).  And maybe a pass through filed bug reports would be
useful.
