The error is 'Parse error somewhere before siginfo_t'.
It does not occur with -D_XOPEN_SOURCE, but a heap of other errors do.

I am happy to post patches when I am reasonably sure that they are patches
not kluges.
Hence my appeal for anyone else who might have been here.
