[GNU-linux-libre] Parabola packaging

[[[ To any NSA and FBI agents reading my email: please consider ]]]
[[[ whether defending the US Constitution against all enemies, ]]]
[[[ foreign or domestic, requires you to follow Snowden's example. ]]]

Please forgive the delay -- I spend Monday travelling and fell quite
behind.

What you said about Parabola recipes suggests something that makes me
worry. I can't be sure of this conclusion, because I don't know the
context and the definitions of the terms. Perhaps you can clear this
up.

It sounds like the equivalent, in Parabola, of Debian's deleting a
package from the list, would be to delete the user-maintained recipe.
Is that right?

1. Is each and every one of the user-maintained recipes supposed to be for
a free program?

2. How does Parabola deal with the issue of free programs that are
useful only for running nonfree programs? Does it try at all? If so,
in which steps?

3. How do they verify that a package is really all free software,
when someone proposes to add it to the user-maintained recipes?
