I assume that this also means that the games I mentioned initially are
nonfree.

Is it because they lack source code or because their license is nonfree?
I need that information for convincing Guix to remove them. 

If they lack source code I'd need to decompress the archives, look
inside them and point to what is lacking source code but that should
not be complicated to do by now (I managed to do it for 1 game already).
