I was referring to the problems which arise when trying to integrate different desktops/APIs, the copy 'n paste problem was just one example. As I do currently not run the very latest GNUstep code on my machine (I apologise...) it might be true that this is not an issue anymore, but eg. cutting/pasting normal text from a Gnome app (such as gedit) into a GNUstep app fails to work - at least on my machine.

To quote a now infamous statement: Works on my machine. Please update your GNUstep and try yourself.

Anyway, there are other examples, such as drag 'n drop across apps written using different technologies.

Yes, this is still broken and will be for a long time until Wim takes up this issue again.

As there are still enough pieces of GNUstep that don't work, would you mind to complain about them, instead of complaining about the few that we did get running?

This is nothing specific with you Phil, I am just annoyed about most of the postings in this mailing list and the time I waste every day reading them. Time I otherwise would spend on fixing bugs.
