After some consideration of different tagging schemes, this is what I
ended up with.

It looks a bit strange though to have a lot of branches with base-0 only
revision. And tag is a pretty expensive operation for the large trees.

I think, a "tla tag" option that disables cacherev may be useful to save
disk space.

Both devel and release branches are usually in the same archive, it makes
sense to cacherev the source revision instead (the one on the left side
of the tag). This way both branches (devel and release) could benefit.
Currently only one branch (release) benefits.

Does this make sense?
