Follow-up Comment #10, bug #60527 (project octave): The only other issue with gcc11/clang12 I noticed is that at higher optimization level (-O3) on modern cpus (with avx2 instructions) we get more precision-related failures. Asa result, besides failing tests, some iterative solvers take much longer time to converge. To me, those look like compiler bugs (they do not truncate intermediate results of avx operations?).
