WAG, softlink somewhere in the path.
WAG 2, have you done a `cvs init` on the server?
WAG 3, MS CR-LF translation bites (are you using cygwin/wincvs/both)?

I'd crawl over an acre of 'Visual This++' and 'Integrated Development
That' to get to gcc, Emacs, and gdb.  Thank you.
