Point taken. I am getting the log (sorry the unit is very remote - seriously).

I do have two sentences that should be indicate of the RAW log taken from gpspipe:

$GNGGA,144129.40,4134.50177155,N,09345.03581478,W,4,15,0.9,280.417,M,-31.442,M,7.4,0002*65
$GNRMC,144129.40,A,4134.50177155,N,09345.03581478,W,0.006,0.000,170320,11.5985,E,D*3B

Notice GGA's fix quality is 4.
