Yup, good point.

Yup. We should do it piece-by-piece, and all patches should go through
the gcc-patches mailing list to be {trashed,flamed,discussed,accepted}.

Yes. Maybe we could start by putting our design ideas in an elaborate
mail and send it to gcc(a)gcc.gnu.
