YES, that fixed the problem with the "make check" in 
libtclobjc!


FYI, before adding -ldl to the lines you mention, this
was the error:

address@hidden libtclobjc-1.1b7]$ make check
gcc -g -o checkTcl checkTcl.o libtclobjc.a  -ltcl  -lm -lobjc 
/usr/lib/libtcl.so: undefined reference to `dlerror'
/usr/lib/libtcl.so: undefined reference to `dlopen'
/usr/lib/libtcl.so: undefined reference to `dlsym'
make: *** [checkTcl] Error 1
