Hi Richard,
I have nfs working on miniconda-v0.7.3, I believe. I did a base install 
plus network and ssh.

After the install completed and rebooted, I did:
echo "/mnt/cdrom/ *(ro)" > /etc/exports
mount /mnt/cdrom
exportfs -a
rpcinfo -p (which displayed portmapper and status)
service nfs start (Displayed starting NFS {services, quotas, mountd, 
daemon})
rpcinfo -p then listed portmapper, status, rquotad, mountd, nfs, nlockmgr.

Does that look correct?
