Forget dash-zero. It's simply wrong. Bad idea. You should avoid

Sic. Let me rephrase myself. Dash-zero-dot-digit is actually the way
to go. I have come to this conclusion after consulting the Debian
Developer's Reference. Your unofficial debian packages can be
regarded as Non Maintainer Uploads. Only they never really get
uploaded to the Debian archive, that is.

- From the manual, chapter 5.11.2 "NMU version numbering":
"If it is absolutely necessary for someone other than the usual
maintainer to make a release based on a new upstream version then
the person making the release should start with the debian-revision
value `0.1'. The usual maintainer of a package should start their
debian-revision numbering at `1'."

To summarize; Please use a "dch -v 0.20-0.1" before commit and build
a new debian package. By doing so we can avoid version conflicts
with uploads to the Debian archive. If you screw up, just do a "dch
- -i" as usual.

Sorry for all the turncoat behavior. I only want to get it right.

Ok, so I want to do some more work on the packages. Who do I collaborate with?
