Correct, the translated MARC framework would end up in a subdirectory under installer/data/mysql/it, typically something like:

installer/data/mysql/it/marcflavour/unimarc

or 

installer/data/mysql/it/marcflavour/marc21

or 

installer/data/mysql/it/marcflavour/itmarc

depending the MARC format you use.  If you were to also create sample settings and data for Italian libraries, the SQL scripts to load that data would also go under subdirectories of installer/data/mysql/it.
