I think its doable with a vu handler -- I really need to separate out my
code from vu_sys into vu_ntfs but so far I haven't found time.

Can we -- as Lode asked before -- have getcwd use the vu handler? That
would make the handler more self-contained.

AFAIK it uses UCS2 and doesn't know about UTF-16.

I think I'll post a summary about all the stuff I've been reading a
while later -- I've been off for around a week so still catching up.
