That's a reasonable way of doing it - and if it helps solve my interwiki
links, I can switch to that. But doesn't that then make it harder to
specify a nice simple URL as the main link for your website?

For example, my current setup is such that all files from my "main"
project - WebWiki - get published into my own personal "public_html"
directory, which then gets served by apache. And, to make things nicer,
I get emacs-wiki to rename WelcomePage to index.html as it is being
published. That means my main wiki (WebWiki) can be accessed using
http://<my main site url>/~tcollins. My other two wiki projects then get
published into subdirectories underneath public_html.

But if I do as you suggest, and also move my main project down a
directory level, alongside the other two, then there is no "index.html"
sitting in ~/public_html for apache to serve. I could put one in there,
with a redirect to the newly moved one, but that's a bit naff. How do
you get round this?
