Yes, this fixes the two problems.
Indeed, it seems to fix _both_ problems, _including_ the
invisible-intangible one. (I was only _claiming_ it would fix the
invisible-only one.) So apparently, something _was_ done. _If_ I
recall well, just setting line-move-ignore-invisible to t was not
sufficient in October to solve the _second_ problem, just the first.
(Or else, we somehow just all forgot to check it.)
Maybe one should just change the default value of
line-move-ignore-invisible to t or get rid of it, since Stefan's
changes seem to make it obsolete. That would still leave the third
bug (or misfeature).
