Actually, if I remember well from October, Klaus' original bug, with
line-move-ignore-invisible set to nil, was caused by the prior special
invisible-intangible feature (or by its interaction with your
feature), which is why I proposed to get rid of that prior feature
back then. I do believe that your feature causes the two other bugs
reported by Kazu. So it is possible that there could be similar
problems with other text properties there, although I am not sure that
the situation is exactly the same.

But it is not clear that a nil value of line-move-ignore-invisible
still makes sense after your change, regardless of any bugs and
automatically setting it to t gets rid of several bugs, regardless of
whatever else causes them. I believe that the idea behind a nil value
of line-move-ignore-invisible was to be able to move around in
non-intangible invisible text just like in regular visible text. This
is no longer possible after your change anyway.

Basically, one question concerning your feature is whether the ability
to freely move around (interactively) in invisible text is used by
something. I can not immediately think of something. `read-passwd'
does _not_ use it.

Sincerely,

Luc.
