You shouldn't need to fix these variables.  Running the command below
will set everything that is needed.

  eval `javaswarm`

This assumes the Bash shell.  Note that that these are backticks, not
single quotes.  Also be sure that you have the Sun JDK in your PATH before
Kaffe.  You can check this with:
  
  type jdb
