Sadly, I've done that already; I did
make uninstall
make clean (I forget which clean; I think I tried several)
still same result when I subsequently configured with --disable-shared.
I also went through and manually deleted the entire swarm directory and
everything I could find related to swarm, got a new tar file, and started
over: re-configured with --disable-shared.
I always end up with the same -Wl,-rpath results.
Given that, is my "fix" of that in the Makefile at least the right way to
go about it? As I said, it does compile.
