the next thing i found out is that ``Subject: '' or ``Content-type: '' header lines are deleted if the mail is detected as SPAM. other header lines are not affected. it is always the FIRST header line which is deleted (instead of rewritten) -- if it is either ``Subject: '' or ``Content-type: ''. if another headerline goes first everything is fine. it is a bit difficult for me to catch the bug within the c++ code... it seems to be in either assassinate() update_or_insert() SpamAssassin::set_subject() SpamAssassin::subject() maybe it is a buffer which is not flashed ... maybe not. still digging the code... niki -- niki w. waibel - system administrator @ newlogic technologies ag
