i'm not sure if it is really necessary to run libtoolize, as i think it will be 
run by autoconf or automake... so you could probably skip this step and do

aclocal -I /home/giordana/Documents/alsa/alsa-lib-0.9.0rc5/utils/
autoheader -I /home/giordana/Documents/alsa/alsa-lib-0.9.0rc5/utils/
autoconf
automake
