Right. The HEAD is currently the development place. It's like the
devel-1-0 branch plus sigc++. If you want to develop something new, the
HEAD is the apropiate place. The devel-1-0 branch is where the stable
things happen.
An easy way to take a look at the differences between version, is using
the cvwweb:
http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/paragui/paragui/
Also, anyone can use the 'cvs status' command to check the tags/branchs.
