Well, I downloaded the new patch (0.92d), patched against a fresh
install of ALSA 0.9.2, ran aclocal & autoconf, compiled, installed,
and Aiee! :-( Kernel panic. Looks like it's still having problems
with the IRQ... BTW, it still wouldn't build the au8830 driver when
using --with-cards=au8830, so there must be something missing in the
Makefile. Since I don't know anything about autoconf, I have no idea
what to look for in order to fix it. ;-(
I also tried building with the --debug=full switch, but the au8810
driver wouldn't build (the compiler was groaning about a missing
vortex_t_magic or some such).
Any suggestions?
