yeah... i switched out the CS2 EXR plug for the OpenEXR plug...
I was just about to switch back and try it out...
not a luddite... using it correctly but thanks. probably because i
switched out...I'll let you know how the switch-out goes...

The photoshop EXR plugin doesn't have any save options.
And if you use the batch command correctly, you never see the save
dialog.

Photoshop CS2.
I tried Nuke with a CRW: before the sequence path to force it
to use CRW as a filetype but the CR2s are slightly different...
It's a standard camera raw format... I wish Photoshop CS2's new
camera raw batch could export exrs.... ugh.
Camera RAW can't do it by itself, but Photoshop CS2 can do it as
a batch operation.
And there is no such thing as a "standard" camera RAW format --
they change the contents with every camera model (and sometimes
with firmware upgrades).
