One way to cut down on the size of the list is to have a separate
lynx-announcements list.
Originally, I subscribed to lynx-dev just to monitor it to find out when
lynx 2.8 would be available. I had little time to read any article that
did not appear to be announcing a revision of lynx.
At some point, I pointed out the problem with TextArea.
Other than those 2 subjects, I have trouble justifying the time to read
other articles.
I do have a Eudora filter set up so that all lynx-dev mail goes in 1 mailbox
so that I can more conveniently scan the Subject headers.
I'd like to again suggest that the lynx-dev list be gatewayed to a newsgroup.
That would cut down a lot of the email traffic and would make it easier to
follow a discussion thread.
