I see no need for the top area that simply has a link to the home
page, as well as another edit link.
This comes in handy when editing the Wiki (I am used to Wikis, and
found an "edit" link on top useful). Moreover, this area indicates the
location of the page within the Wiki. What do others think ?
I also took a peek at the source and corrected some errors of missing
tags, changed the main Lout header in the navigation pane to be a link
to the home, removed the top area, changed all the tags and attributes
to lowercase (recommendation, and also a requirement for XHTML
standards).
* I changed the Lout header to be a link
* I think the top area should be kept, because it gives info on the
page location within the Wiki and allows to quickly edit it
* I did not found where tags or attributes were uppercase :/
I think it now looks a little better, as well as is much more
compliant. Oh, I also added in the valign="top" to the <td
class="page"> to make the content area aligned to the top.
* Did that too :)
and also, it now validates as a HTML 4.01 Transitional via the w3.org
validator:
http://validator.w3.org/
check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Flifewithchrist.org%2Flout.html&charset=%28detect
+automatically%29&doctype=%28detect+automatically%29
You can do with it as you please, just offering a few suggestions.
Oh, don't pay too much attention to some of the comments on the list.
Um, one about browser controling colors, links, etc... :-)
Thanks a lot for your help, I will make the modifications to make it
pass the validation test!
And well, I can still make a special "blue and red links" option
available on the webpage ;)
