Yeah I know the theory
However if you see the parallel thread "Impossible to set org mode variable"
it is almost analogous to this scenario:
You have C code like this:
int x;
x = 3;
printf("%d\n" x);
and instead of seeing 3 you see 42!!
Now how much this is due to
- dynamic vs static
- unexpected autoload cookie sequencing
- recent library churn
Ive not been able to figure out
