I think there is a bug report about it.

A first step would be to make sure that all computers form factors
appear as computer instead of notebook.

For the same hardware, like a smartphone for instance, this will also
enable to add it in two different categories:
- One where it's seen as a peripheral. In that case your Trisquel
  laptop will be able to interact with it without any nonfree software
  for instance.
- One where it's seen as a computer, where the smartphone itself would
  be compatible or not with FSDG distributions running on it, like
  Parabola or Replicant (if it's added).

And there are also many different computer types, from WiFi access
points, to modems, etc.

Adding all FSDG distributions (including LibreCMC and Replicant) would
also be a good idea.

For instance, without Replicant, if you want to add a smartphone
supported by Replicant, it results in a completely absurd entry[1] as
Replicant has patches to make the devices work that aren't in other FSDG
distributions like Parabola.

For cases like that, we probably also need to make sure the
compatibility with free software specific to a given distribution and
hardware as status can be different across different distributions.

Even with GNU/Linux, some distributions still have patches on top of
linux-libre that aren't upstream.

For instance Parabola reuses various Arch Linux / Arch Linux 32 / Arch
Linux ARM patches and even has some patches on top like
0002-fix-Atmel-maXTouch-touchscreen-support.patch to add support for a
laptop touchscreen that aren't upstream yet (in linux or linux-libre).
