Hi Greg,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have tested with gpsd v3.21 release and with latest git master: 3.21.1~dev (revision release-3.21-639-g46f369f42).
The result is unfortunately similar - $GAGSV on input, but no Galileo satellites in gpsd JSON output.

HI Gary,
I have gathered the gpspipe -R output, it is attached, for 3.21 and 3.21.1-dev.
I have also updated the LC79D to (I think latest) Quectel firmware version LC79DANR01A02SV03. With the new firmware, the $xxGSA sentence contains more info, the device also started to send $GPLOR sentences. The output is also attached.

Kind regards,
Filip

What version?  Newer version work just fine.

Oh, Qeuctel.  A lot of Quectel bugs fixes in git head and 3.21.

You realize how brokene tnat NMEA is?

Please sena 30 seconds sample captured with gpsd running, this way:
        # gpspipe -R -x 30 > raw.log

Send us raw.log

Xgps, cgps, and the rest, read the SKY, so not in the SKY no point
looking further.

It is a problem only if you care about precise TPV.  Npothing preise
about the Quectel.

And left out the interesting parts.  Start by sending the raw.log

Insufficient data.
