My impression is that these options being discussed will be much more rarely
used, so the precision/convenience tradeoff is different, but I don't really
know that for sure...

If I had my druthers, I'd call them "revision logs", (they're associated with revisions, not patches or changesets, per se) but that's even longer.

Anyhow, I've renamed the option to "--patch-logs-only" in the latest Fai.
