Dunno. Thats why I was trying to solicit feedback from Tom about the todo
list -- I could implement most of the items on it fairly quickly (already
having implemented stuff like that once when porting), but don't want to
push architectural changes (like items 3.2, 3.3.1 from the list) without
input.
