Ok, I implemented this, although I think that transposing branch and
version is a bad idea. Take a look at:

  http://archzoom.sourcecontrol.net/demo/address@hidden

Now, add any combination of "?transpose" and "?compact". The defaults may
be configured in archzoom.conf. I still think that compact view is less
readable, so it may be not the default, but this depands on the feedback.
Both of these options and other view preferences will be configurable per
visitor later (using a browser cookie or any other method).
