[Dvdrtools-users] unable to write dvd-r with linux kernel 1.6

Subject: [Dvdrtools-users] unable to write dvd-r with linux kernel 1.6

hi, all.

since upgrading from linux kernel 2.4 to kernel 2.6 dvdrecord now fails
with the following error. i've tried with both ATA and ide-scsi
interfaces and it fails in exactly the same way, and it also fails on
two different DVD drives in different machines.

a search through the mailing list indicate that this might be a drive
compatibility problem, but these drives did work prior to the change of
kernel. does anyone have any idea what might eb going wrong?

thanks.
