Be sure to use the latest patch I sent here if you apply it, the first one
had an embarrassing typo in it :)

An extra tab might be a bit much/confusing for the purpose since the info
normally doesn't change all that much. Perhaps a radio button (or View
menu option) to show either installed or candidate version info in the
current tabs?
