Arborgames crashes because the scm file has data for 8 species. if you 
write more data for more species, it will work.

I've not seen shelling crash.  You don't say what kind of computer you 
use or what sort of crash it is.   i have been having crashes on Fedora 
Core 3 when I try to take screenshots of the whole screen.

What is your situation?
