You appear to have too many parentheses.  I think you should just do
[(id) arguments getMultiRunFlag]
assuming that you have a class called SwarmAppArguments for which  you
wrote a method called getMultiRunFlag.  Everybody's initSwarmArguments
line will look a little different because they can name their own class.

Your argument processing was working in a previous swarm, right? So we
are just worrying to make it work in RH7 with the Swarm snapshot.?
