Before I begin, I must say that I am rather new to Swarm and particularly
new to Unix. I am wondering how I would go about editing the .pgm files
(that are essentially 2d arrays of numbers) that come with the
implementation of Sugarscape in Swarm. I am wondering if it is
possible to edit these with a image/paint program. I have tried this, and
opened the files successfully, but I have not been able to get the image
program (namely gimp) to save the files in the same 2d array format as the
originals.
