You might want to check out the Colt packages (if you're using java) for a set of mathematical and statistical routines.  They have a number of random variables stuff in the cern.jet packages.  The packages are open source, with varying kinds of licenses.

Page xv of the Preface says "Distribution of the machine-readable programs
