Guys,

We do not need a "stable release" because Protux is not a finished
program yet. We do need regular tarballs that compile so people can
test. However, if we do have nightly builds, it makes no sense to have
CVS acess.

So we could have a periodical "unstable releases" and "milestone
releases", and garanteeing that they at least compile (but not
necessarily works!). This way, people can work with the "Milestone
release", while those who want to test should use "unstable releases"
and report bugs from those (since they will be regular). And if they
want to work on the latest and greatest, they get from CVS, and help us
work it out.

This what I suggest:
"milestone release" -- in this case, it would be 0.20
"weekly develpment tarball" -- we release a tar that compiles.
"cvs acess" -- for those who want to work on the lastest code.

RFC!
Fabio.
