How do I render a DTMLMethod through LocalFolder?

As long as I understand, you need a folderish object so that you can call a method within a LocalFolder:

LocalFolder
    Folder_es
        your_method
    Folder_en
        your_method

But with other type of objects (images, files ...) you can simply add them as filename_es and filename_en

Am I right?

No, you also can use method_en and method_es, you just need to be careful
when you call them (explained in the reply to Luistxo). There's nothing
specific to Localizer here.
