yes: i set  setenv xhttp_proxy dummy .

what i get is:

sed: command garbled: \

   N;\

  }

so before i follow the steps below, have you any comment here?

> (3) what does -trace say?
 
if the problem is the sed script, -trace probably is irrelevant.
