Huh?  What does it have to do with the problem at hand?
Whether taglines use UUIDs or marshmallows doesn't make any difference to
the fact that they may be mistakenly modified or even removed and that
it would be good for tla to try and recognize the typical symptoms of
such situations.

Well, I use UUIDs (for what it's worth) and I've had such supposedly
artificial problems a few times already.  Fixing them is a pain because `tla
file-diffs' doesn't tell you what you've modified (it justs says you're
trying to diff a new file) so you have to manually grovel through your
revlib to find the base revision, ...
