I raised some obvious issues with this branch some months ago
( http://www.mail-archive.com/address@hidden/msg07544.html ), and
those were only the ones I could see without being able to compile or
test the code. Not a single one has been fixed in the branch. I hope
that will change before any attempt to merge it to master!
